Registered Nutritional Therapist & NHS Health Coach
DipNT, Diphc (CNM), mBANT, mCNHC

I am a registered Nutritional Therapist and NHS Health Coach, passionate about helping people understand their bodies, take control of their health and make realistic, sustainable changes that can make a real difference to how they feel and function.

I particularly enjoy supporting adults in midlife, with a strong focus on improving metabolic health. I work with people who may be struggling with low energy, weight gain or stubborn belly fat, or who have started to see changes in their blood sugar, cholesterol, triglycerides or blood pressure. I love helping clients understand how these different aspects of health are connected and what they can do through nutrition and lifestyle to improve their health now and protect it for the future.

I trained at the college of Naturopathic Medicine, where I completed my Diploma in Nutritional Therapy followed by further professional training and a Diploma in Health Coaching. My training gave me a strong foundation in nutrition science, anatomy and physiology, health assessment and personalised nutrition and lifestyle support.

Alongside my private Nutritional Therapy practice, I work as a Health Coach within the NHS. This experience gives me a valuable understanding of the wider healthcare system and helps me support clients alongside any medical care they may already be receiving. I see nutrition and lifestyle as an important part of the bigger picture, working alongside medical care to help people take an active role in supporting their health.

My approach is practical, personalised and non-judgemental. I understand that most people are juggling work, family, stress, health concerns and years of established habits, so simply telling someone what they should be doing is rarely enough. I take time to listen and understand the person in front of me - their health history, symptoms, lifestyle, challenges and what they actually want to achieve. I support my clients every step of the way, helping them put changes into practice, work through challenges and keep moving towards where they want to be with their health.

One of the things I enjoy most about my work is helping people make sense of what may be happening in their body. Rather than simply handing someone a list of foods to eat or avoid, I want them to understand why we are making certain changes and how those changes may support their health.

I don't believe in perfect diets or changing everything overnight. Often, it is about identifying what matters most, starting there and building from it gradually. Seeing someone gain confidence, make progress and realise that looking after their health doesn't have to feel overwhelming is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do.

Where appropriate, I may also recommend functional testing to help us understand an individual's health more fully and guide a personalised approach.

I am a full member of the British Association for Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine (BANT) and registered with the Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC). I regularly undertake continuing professional development and further training to keep my knowledge and practice up to date.
